Living with aHUS

aHUS is a syndrome characterised by an increased breakdown of red-blood cells, a shortage of blood platelets causing impaired blood clotting and acute renal failure. It's a very rare desease, aHUS is only diagnosed about  15-20 times a year in the Netherlands.


Creápolis developed an educational video for the Netherlands Kidney Patient Association (NVN) in which Thomas and Joyce, along with Thomas' mother, talk about their lives with this disease.
